In Nights in the City, Billa Joints fuses a melodic Fender Rhodes with vintage Dilla-esque lo-fi to create two minutes of dreamy chill-hop.

The track and its title were inspired by the vibrant nightlife of New York City where you can meet new people and discover new places on a nightly basis. In July of 2018, Billa Joints moved to New York to take part in its dynamic music scene and culture.

This September, Billa Joints released Fire & Ice to kick off his "12 for 12" series—a musical challenge where he'll be dropping a new single on the 12th day of each month. As such, Nights in the City will arrive on Saturday, October 12 as the second single in this year-long endeavour.
